Case most consistent with medulloblastoma 
– most common malignant brain tumor of childhood 
– usually located along 4th ventricle 
– lesions are at risk of developing cerebellar dysfunction and hydrocephalus 
– microscopic analysis will show hypercellular, small round cells with scant cytoplasm 

Due to risk of metastatic spread along the neuroaxis, craniospinal irradiation and chemotherapy are needed in addition to surgical resection of the primary tumor
