Alexia without agraphia is a disconnection syndrome that presents with the inability to read but the retained ability to write. Usually associated with right-sided homonymous hemianopia.
– Most cases are associated with left posterior cerebral artery ischemic strokes which affected the left occipital lobe and splenium of the corpus callosum
