Queston #17220Note

Alexia without agraphia is a disconnection syndrome that presents with the inability to read but the retained ability to write. It is usually associated with right-sided homonymous hemianopia. Most cases are associated with left posterior cerebral artery ischemic strokes which affect the left occipital lobe and splenium of the corpus callosum. Limb kinetic apraxia is associated with a lesion to the anterior corpus callosum.
