Sandifer syndrome: a neurologic manifestation of severe GERD in which an infant develops sudden spastic torticollis and paroxysmal dystonic postures with arching of the neck and back 

Children with Sandifer syndrome may have recurrent vomiting and failure to thrive
– patients need a full GI evaluation 
– sx usually completely resolve with treatment of GERD 
– tx: PPIs or H2 receptor blockers
