–otic ganglion: efferent secretomotor signals to the parotid gland, via the lesser petrosal nerve

-greater (superficial) petrosal nerve: secretomotor signals to the lacrimal gland

-chordae tympani: Taste sensations from the anterior 2/3 of the tongue –>to the intermediate nerve, and from the palate via the greater petrosal nerve.
