The EEG provided is a bipolar montage recording showing generalized rhythmic delta activity (GRDA) with a frontal predominance. Formally known as frontal intermittent rhythmic delta activity (FIRDA), this pattern can be seen with a range of generalized non-specific cerebral abnormalities including posterior fossa lesions, intracranial lesions, lesions with increased intraventricular pressure or in metabolic encephalopathy.
