Von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) – presents with numerous benign and malignant tumors in various organs
– CNS hemangioblastomas occur in 60-80% of VHL patients
– Cerebellar hemagioblastomas can present with headache, ataxia, and increased intracranial pressure
Findings on pathology consistent with hemangioblastoma include:
1. numerous thin-walled vessels lined with abundant vascular cells
